Johanna Wright is an energy worker, author, illustrator and intuitive guide. She helps folks use creative self-healing tools to connect with the deepest parts of themselves that need attention, acceptance, guidance and transformation.

About a decade ago Johanna’s body and mental health started to break down from stress and unprocessed emotion.

This led Johanna on a deep dive into learning and experiencing everything she could about consciousness healing. She explored and trained in energy medicine, community healing, channeling, psychedelic medicine, creative visualization and intuitive journaling.

Johanna now uses her skills as an illustrator and author along with her connection to energy and intuition to guide herself and clients who are on a similar path of self-discovery.

As an artist who can easily get tangled up in her own brain forests, Johanna has found that creative and intuitive tools are a way back to herself and an important part of her mental, emotional and physical health. She works with an oracle deck that she created, called Creative Consciousness Healing.

Johanna’s work is dedicated to guiding all beings back to their true self and worthiness. Integrity, compassion, anti-racism, inclusion, creativity and growth are the primary values Johanna brings to her life and work.

Morgan is an intuitive bodyworker and sensitive soul. She welcomes all those who are seeking support through transitional and transformational times, and holds a nurturing space for one’s healing to naturally unfold. Clients often find sessions to be relaxing, restorative, and though subtle may promote profound change. “My sessions involve a gentle approach, embodied listening to follow and flow with my client’s natural rhythms to encourage release of restrictions with respect to the body’s own pace. In this way, I find the innate healing potential can emerge from within someone and work its wise magic! My intention is to create a sanctuary with my presence where such healing can take place with ease and grace.” She weaves together her training in craniosacral therapy and myofascial release with the energetic support of Reiki and acupressure. Please do note that Morgan does not offer “regular massage”.

Having experienced chronic complex pain and illness since age 10 has encouraged her into an exploration of the vast field of healing arts beginning around 2011. Her study and practices of healing modalities include herbalism, bodywork, Taoist medical Qigong, Reiki, nutrition, meditation, music and art therapy. All these practices support her attunement to the natural world and subtle healing energies present in all life. She holds a holistic perspective of healing and would be happy to be a part of the wide web which supports you on your healing path.

philosophy

Interoception and ease are critical to wellness and are not valued or experienced much in our culture. I want to help people to find their natural rhythm and balance. I believe that if everyone felt good, had confidence in their bodies and balance in their bodies and minds, our world would be much more harmonious and much less destructive.

journey

I came to bodywork through my own personal healing journey, recovering from a hip injury that caused pain and frustration with each step. There were no activities that weren’t affected, and I spent a lot of that eight-year period dissociating from my lower body. Receiving massage was one of the only times I felt safe enough to become present in my own body, feel connected to myself, and at peace. The pain would subside, and I would have a sense of buoyancy and freedom in my movement. Once I prioritized my wellbeing with regular bodywork and committing to a self-care routine of interoception, movement and stretching, my injury turned out to be my greatest teacher. I moved into a place of great body awareness, compassion, intuition and authenticity for myself, and the natural progression was for me to share the transformative healing process I experienced with others. Because we don’t exist in a vortex, we don’t heal in a vortex. We are all interconnected, and as we show up for ourselves, and as one person experiences healing, we are lifted up together.

bodywork

My primary modalities include Myofascial Release, craniosacral therapy, somatic and structural bodywork, and sessions that integrate these elements. I provide my clients with a a full body experience through deep and gentle fascial work, somatic and breathing techniques, and focused therapeutic techniques for pain and tension relief, increasing mobility, supporting the nervous system and structural balancing. As a harpist and composer for over 15 years, deep listening has been an integral part of my life, and a skill that has translated to my understanding of the body, balance and harmony. Vibration, texture and subtle movement in the body offer clues to disharmony, and pathways to harmony.

Myofascial release is a gentle and powerful modality that works with the fascia (connective tissue) of the body to unwind and release acute and chronic pain and tension patterns. Recent studies have discovered that the fascial system is continuous. This means that all of the structures that support, wrap, and give shape to your form are all connected - this also means if one area gets stuck, it pulls on surrounding areas, causing pain and tension patterns to emerge, and ultimately changing the form and function of the whole body. Injury, trauma, dehydration or overuse can cause the fascia to “adhere” or get stuck, and when that happens, we lose flexibility, mobility and freedom in our bodies. I use gentle myofascial release to listen and respond to the fascial tissues and assist the reorganization of fibrous tissues along healthy and functional lines of force. This work is profoundly successful in supporting increased body awareness, ease, grace, natural energy and a sense of space inside and out.

I specialize in working with musicians and artists as well as supporting clients with a history of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain conditions, and eating disorders. I have been successful working with clients with fibromyalgia, MS, hypermobility, headache and migraine, musculoskeletal injury and imbalance, repetitive use injury, anxiety, depression, PTSD, nerve entrapment, sciatica, digestive disorders, low back pain, whiplash and neck pain, restricted range of motion, and joint pain and stiffness.

Learning to feel good in our bodies and trust our bodies can be a challenging journey for those who have experienced traumatic events or live with chronic illness. I will work with you to cultivate an environment of trust, compassion and communication to provide a safe and nurturing environment for you. I am here to support your journey toward vitality, ease and joy in your body. Together, we can design a treatment plan to support your most radiant vision of health.
